What Does The NDIS Do?

The NDIS assists you in identifying what it is you need to help you achieve your goals, whether they be Independence, involvement in your community, education, employment, health and wellbeing.

As NDIS participants you have greater choice and control over how and when you receive your supports and ensures you receive the support you need over your life time.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme has a strong focus on early intervention; striving to provide support particularly where early support can reduce the impact of the disability the participant.

If you’re not sure whether or not you’re able to access the government funding and support, read our blog post Can I access the NDIS?
